The Nave Museum was named for Royston Nave, an accomplished artist who enjoyed painting Texan people and landscapes. The museum is housed in a neo-classical style temple that was built by his wife as a memorial. The museum houses a collection of fine art created by Texan artists, as well as that by renowned national artists.
